Crazy Knitting and Crochet Lovers

Hello and welcome to my Free Sweet Dreams C2C Baby Blanket Knitting Pattern.

I just love this baby blanket, I used Purple Jewel from the brand Yarn Maker Glitter Yarn to knit this gorgeous baby blanket.

The colours actually reminded me of when a baby is having sweet dreams, so I decided that is what I was going to call my pattern.

However you can make it in any colour, even one plain colour if you so wish.

I hope you enjoy knitting my wonderful, easy, corner to corner baby blanket pattern just as I did making it.

One thing I enjoyed most about this wool is all the pretty sparkles in it that makes it all the more pretty.

Required:

Needle Size- 4mm Single Point Needles (AUS).

Wool Ply- 8 Ply, DK.

300 Grams of Wool of Your Choosing (I used just under two balls of Yarn Maker Glitter Yarn).

Tapestry Needle.

Finished Size is 30″ x 30″.

Abbreviations:

KFB – Stands for Knit Front and Back of Stitch, in other words Increase Stitch.

K2Tog – Stands for Knit 2 Stitches Together, in other words Decrease Stitch.

St – Stands for Stitch.

Sts – Stands for Stitches.

Pattern.

Start by Casting On 2 Stitches.

Simply knit the next row.

KFB each stitch so you are then left with 4 stitches.

Knit the next row.

From here on in KFB 1 st at each end of row, then every second row simply just knit it.

Continue to increase by 1 stitch at each of row and knit the row after until your stitch count reaches 200, still knitting the row after the increase row.

Once you have 200 stitches and have knitting the row after the increase row, knit 2 more rows.

Now we start the decrease.

Just like with the increase rows, we now K2Tog at the end of the row, and plainly knit the row after the decrease row.

Continue this until you have just 2 stitches left.

Cast off remaining 2 stitches.

How To Make It Up.

Simply sew in the loose ends once you have finished your gorgeous and easy to make Corner 2 Corner Baby Blanket.
